The Trip
Day 1 - Barcelona
Upon your arrival, you will receive a special Welcome Gift along with your Welcome Package. Enjoy your time in Spain! Visit the art galleries and/or museums of your choice in Barcelona with this Articket which entitles you to free admission to seven of the most important and remarkable museums and art centres in Barcelona. The Articket can be used once at each museum and at any time during a period of six months, so you can use it whenever you like throughout your stay in the city.
Day 2 - Barcelona
Embark on a 6-hour shared sightseeing coach tour of the city with an English speaking guide. This tour provides an insider's view into Barcelona's culture and history, from its roman origins through the medieval ages to the modern Barcelona of the 20th and 21st centuries. Discover Barcelona's main attractions such as Montjuic Hill and the Olympic Ring. Enjoy lunch at leisure (not included in tour price).
Day 3 - Barcelona/Madrid Take your flight from Barcelona to Madrid today. Enjoy half day private tour of the city with your own private vehicle and English speaking driver, and admire the principal sights of the city, and discover Madrid under its different historical periods.
Day 4 - Madrid
See and do exactly what you feel like today with your 24 hour Madrid Card. The Card is an electronic smart card offering free admission to more than 40 museums in and around Madrid, can be used on the 'Madrid Vision' sightseeing bus, entitles you to visit the Planetarium, a guided walking tour from the "Discover Madrid Program", use of a Cable Car, visit Faunia Biologic Park and Imax Cinema. You can also benefit from discounts in more than 100 establishments including shops, restaurants, shows, rent a car and leisure centres for adults and children. Enjoy lunch at leisure (not included in tour price). Enjoy a three course typical Spanish dinner before watching a breathtaking perfomance of Flamenco.
Day 5 - Madrid/Lisbon
Enjoy half day tour of the nearby town of Toledo (shared). A town of great artistic beauty, it was once the capital of the country and is now one of the oldest cities in Europe. Known as the "city of the three cultures", because Christians, Arabs and Jews lived together for centuries. Behind its walls Toledo preserves an artistic and cultural legacy in the form of churches, palaces, fortresses, mosques and synagogues. Enjoy lunch at leisure (not included in tour price). Enjoy a short flight to Lisbon today.
Day 6 - Lisbon
Enjoy a half day shared city tour of Lisbon. First you will be driven across the 25th April Bridge to Belem (if possible), which is the historical section of Lisbon. You will then be taken to the Padrao dos Descobrimentos, a modern monument dedicated to the Portuguese maritime discoveries, and more. After that you will visit the Coach Museum, which is home to one of the best coach collections in Europe. Along the river you will arrive at Alfama, where you will have the opportunity to walk in its narrow streets and visit a handicraft shop where you taste an aperitif of Porto wine. You will continue to Praca do Comercio, the biggest and most beautiful square in Lisbon Baixa-Rosso, and finally to Avenida da Liberdade and Marques de Pombal before being dropped off in the city centre or at your accommodation. Enjoy lunch at leisure (not included in tour price).
Day 7 - Lisbon
Along the rolling landscape of Alentejo, we pass by fields of Olive trees, cork trees and vineyards, to find the charming town of Évora, World Heritage of Unesco. End the day with a wine taste at a Century wine cellar in Azeitão. Admire the city's main monuments by night. There will be a typical Portuguese dinner served and you will still have time to watch one of the most traditional dances the Folklore. Includes Dinner, Pick-Up & Drop-Off, but no drinks.
Day 8 - Lisbon
Private Airport transfer with your own vehicle and Portuguese speaking Driver. Depart.
