Hideaways' Take
|
Yes, your uber-comfortable pillow-top bed is seductively suggesting you sleep in this morning, but the first light of day breaking through the windows is tempting you to head down (with camera) to Dawn Beach—so named for its absolutely stunning sunrises.

Hideaways' Review
As morning breaks across the soft white sands of Dawn Beach, and you wander out to your private balcony with that amazing view of St. Barth in the distance, you can't help but smile to yourself. So this is what the good life is all about—beautiful island and beach views, an attentive staff to meet all your needs, enough activities to satisfy both thrill seekers and nature lovers, and a lovely suite where your whole family can relax with plenty of room to spread out.
With its Dutch influence and French overtones, Princess Heights promises an international flair to its luxury boutique condo experience. A multi-lingual staff, many originally from Holland or Suriname, will gladly recommend a fabulous local restaurant or a favorite, out-of-the-way beach. Then there are day trips to neighboring islands, distinctly French shopping experiences in nearby Marigot, and underwater coral gardens to explore via scuba dining or snorkeling. If you time your stay just right, you might immerse yourself in a cultural celebration during St. Maarten's annual Carnival season in April or the St. Martin Food Festival held every July.
Then again, if pure relaxation is what the doctor ordered, there's nothing that says you can't simply stretch out by the pool with a refreshing drink, sea views spread before you, and plan in your mind which of the island's intriguing-looking restaurants you might visit that evening. Of course, if going out requires too much effort, you can always pick up some fresh fish at the market and prepare a delicious, romantic dinner in your suite's own gourmet kitchen, then head out to your balcony to watch the lights of St. Barth twinkle on across the bay. |
